Yinchuan City started the construction of e-police system in 2004, from the standard-definition e-police system to high-definition e-police system, checkpoint system and speed measurement system. In April 2013, Yinchuan city began “smart traffic” construction projects, which includes new construction and renovation of e-police systems involved in four horizontal and four vertical lines and three areas in the city, and construction of security checkpoint system in ring expressway network and intercity expressway network, road monitoring system in the guard lines, high point monitoring system, illegally parked capture system, smart signal machine system, and traffic guidance system. Synjones mainly undertakes the new construction and renovation of multi-functional e-police system and the construction of relevant back-stage management system.

In May 2013, first phase of smart traffic project in Yinchuan city was started. The e-police system adopts integrated capture unit of 5 million pixels, the most advanced unit in the industry, which integrates video detection, automatic capture, and high-definition video surveillance in one. Its video stream is up to 2592*2048 25 frames/sec. In addition to capture the phenomenon of running red light, it also can detect and capture automatically the illegal behavior of not following the guide lane, going in a direction not allowed by traffic regulations, driving on the yellow line, driving on the white line, running through the forbidden areas and others.

To September 2014, e-police data in more than 150 intersections has been accessed to e-police and public security checkpoint platform in Yinchuan City, which realizes network deployment and control alarm, vehicle track query, illegal records upload, video monitoring and video management, equipment state display and fault alarm, statistical analysis of traffic flow and other functions.
